Car Hire Terms and Conditions

 

• A valid photo card driving license

• National insurance number

• Credit/Debit card holding deposit

• Two forms of ID are required for verification purposes, i.e Passport, recent Utility bill

• Minimum age is 25 years old and 30+ on performance vehicles

• Any wheel damage- Standard wheels £50 (+VAT) Diamond cut alloys £125 (+VAT)

• Period of hire is midday to midday, any time over this will incur extra charges

• Vehicles must be returned at the same fuel, it will be charged if brought back low

• The hirer is responsible for any damage(s)/Fines/Penalties/Speeding tickets whist the vehicle is in the possession of the agreed hirer

• Should any speeding or wreck less driving take place at time of hire, all deposits will not be refunded. We reserve the right to terminate the contract of the hire period and seize the vehicle if the vehicle is misused.

• Royal Limos Ltd reserves the right to substitute a contract car with a similar car in the event of a mechanical breakdown. Any amendments made to the booking will be charged at £15.00 for administration costs. The minimum notice period for cancellation is 48 hours. Notice is only valid if given during working hours via email. i.e. between 9:00am to 5:00pm. All Monies would not be refunded if booking is cancelled by the customer.

• All bookings are pre-bookings only and must be confirmed within 7 days with a deposit of no less than one half of the total amount, before it is accepted as a positive booking, unless by prior agreement.

• No responsibility can be accepted for adverse weather conditions (i.e. snow, flooding etc) which may cause delay to or cancellation of a booking by the company.

• Whilst every effort is made to ensure the serviceability of the vehicles, no responsibly can be accepted for mechanical, electrical or material breakdowns howsoever caused in this unlikely event every effort will be made for immediate repair to the vehicle so that the journey can continue or the hirer will be transferred to another vehicle(s) and any reasonable extra cost incurred will be borne by the company or refund given.

• The company reserves the right at any time to change/replace the vehicle(s) booked or advertised in order to maintain the company’s high standard. We will aim to provide a replacement vehicle of the same type as originally booked and duty notified to the hirer.

• The hirer (as signed below) shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside of the vehicle by the hirer and/ or any member of their party howsoever caused. This includes incitement to any third party, which results in damage to the vehicle or its contents. The hirer will agree to be liable for the total costs of the repair and the company will determine the location of the repairer. The
hirer will be liable to pay to the company a fixed daily rate (determined by the company) while the vehicle is out of commission for such repairs, also any other incurred losses i.e. lost bookings.

• A minimum valeting charge of £100 will be issued to the hirer in a case of misuse of food/drink and illnesses (i.e. vomiting, nosebleeds, misuse of substances etc) which may cause extra attention whilst being valeted. The hirer is liable for all glassware breakages at a replacement cost of £10 per glass.

• Due to insurance restrictions and licensing authorities our vehicles have been designated as NON-SMOKING vehicles. Any infringement of this policy will deem the hire invalid and all monies paid will be forfeited and the rental terminated. 

• The company’s discretion shall be decided by the partners of the company and their decision will be fully binding in all matters.

• By confirming your reservation with a deposit or signing and returning this form you as the hirer are now in a binding contract with the company.
